Another rule of thumb is to bring any materials with you such as x-rays, list of meds you are taking, lab slips, etc. It is also important to visit the dentist on a regular basis too do to the fact that many signs of an HIV infection show up in your mouth.

People with HIV/AIDS regardless of the situation go out and date and even get married. It is always a good practice to upfront and honest with your partner about the status of your HIV/AIDS. Living well with HIV/AIDS also includes use of safe-sex practices such as using condoms.

For everyone it is good to make healthy nutritional choices to maintain your energy, strength, and immune system. In addition to eating healthy it is a good practice to perform daily hygiene to prevent any sort of infections that can weaken your immune system.
