Josh StollingsJosh Stollings

Josh is the lead designer on the AIDS Taskforce website. He will be graduating from Cuyahoga Community College in the Spring of 2011 with an Associates Degree in Visual Communication/Interactive Media.

On a recent research/web project called “Eat Me Cleveland”, Josh discovered that he loves crazy hot-dog toppings. His favorite so far? Fruit Loops!

Brittany ChurchBrittany Church

Brittany is currently a full-time student pursuing a degree in Interactive Media and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in English. She would like to find a job that combines her love of writing with her technical and design skills.

Maggie BurganMaggie Burgan

Maggie is a free-lance graphic designer with experience in corporate communications, educational publishing production, and graphic design industries. She works on an iMac using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Fireworks. Maggie can hand code websites using XHTML/CSS. When she’s not designing, she enjoys spending time with her family. Maggie grew up in Cleveland and spent five years overseas before deciding to move back Ohio. Her hobbies include travel, cooking, photography, golf, and yoga.

Alex CoronaAlex Corona

Alex is very proud to have played a role in the creation the AIDS Task force of Greater Cleveland website. Alex has a passion for art and design. He is currently studying web design and animation. His ultimate career goal is to be a web designer/developer.

Richard M. DiBartolomeo

Richard lives in Northeastern Ohio and is an Interactive media student at Cuyahoga Community College. Richard is interested in learning about all aspects of the design process. After graduation Richard hopes to obtain a job in the web design industry.


Brittany HellerBrittany Heller

Brittany is currently attending Cuyahoga Community College. Her focus is Interactive Media and Dance Choreography. She will graduate in the Spring of 2011 and receive her Associates Degree. She will continue her education at another college to receive her Bachelors Degree. Her other interests are photography, animation, music and creative writing.

Melissa JenkinsMelissa Jenkins

Melissa is a web designer & graphic designer. She likes to draw, play volleyball and throw her own pottery. Melissa is graduating in the Spring of 2011 as a triple major in Graphic design, interactive media and advertising & design.

Russell MakruskiRussell Makruski

Russell Makruski is currently in his second year at Tri-C studying Interactive Media Design. After 13 years working as a Chef, he decided to go back to school to pursue his first love of design. He really enjoyed this semester, learning new web applications, working on a design team and helping the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland. He hopes to graduate soon and eventually start his own design firm.

On this project Russell worked extensively on the CSS development and also took photographs that were used on the website.

Patrick McNamaraPatrick McNamara

Patrick is graphic designer currently working toward a degree in Visual Communications and Design with a concentration in Interactive Media. His studies have included such areas as visual communication theory, the creative process, team project collaboration, and conceptualizing using research, flowcharts and sketches. In using the latest hardware and industry-standard software, Patrick has been able to explore the necessary skills required in web design and construction, digital video, animation, digital imaging, photography and typography. With a fascination for design and constant learning of new techniques, he applies his knowledge while continuing to think “outside the box” using his own creative flair.

Paul MorilakPaul Morilak

Nicole PaulNicole Paul

Nicole has been attending Cuyahoga Community College for a few years, and will soon be graduating with two associate’s degrees, one in Interactive Media and one in Photography. In addition to being a student she is a full time employee with Franklin’s Management of Cleveland. If she ever gets free time she enjoys spending it with friends, bowling, cooking, or going on random photographic explorations.

Siranda PopeSiranda Pope

Siranda is a Visual Communications and Design major at Cuyahoga Community College, focusing in the area of Interactive Media. She began self-teaching herself HTML at the age of 13 and has had an interest in web development ever since. She will be obtaining her first degree in May 2011 and hopes to find a job in the web development field in the near future. She aims to transfer to a four year school shortly after graduation. Her other career interests include photography, video, and music.

Shawn Thorp

Shawn got his start in digital media his freshman year of high school. Throughout his time in high school he enrolled in everything from photography to graphic design to web design. Currently he is attending Cuyahoga Community College to receive his major in Interactive Media and would like to pursue a career one day in the industry of web design. Outside of attending class Shawn works at a shipping company as a manager five days a week. On his off time he likes to hang out with family / friends, looking around for a Ford Mustang to buy, and does a little bit a freelance web design for friends and family.

At the “height of her earning potential” as a web designer/developer at Ernst & Young, Angela quit the corporate world to teach. It gives her great satisfaction to connect her talented students with the business and non-profit community through service projects like the AIDS Taskforce web site.
