Communities around the country collaborate with HUD every year and have a Point In Time Count for adults who are homeless. This year the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), and U.S. Department of Education (ED) have collaborated to launch a Youth Point In Time Count Pilot in nine locations in the U.S. and Cuyahoga County is one of the locations. The goal is to create the most effective way to do a Point In Time Count for youth that are homeless and unstably housed.
